It's been a long time since she first showed me her illustrations. She was shy, and had a hard time showing or letting other people watch them.
I always told her she is amazing. She only has to believe it and work hard.
So she did it and besides her tumblr and twitter she's building a website that I hope will be up soon.
Her stories are terrific and surprising. I can't get tired of reading-looking them!

In my last trip to Puerto Rico we collaborated again and here you have something to download... but more is coming!

Last winter I met the director of the Create Collective in a workshop I took in Art for Change, a Harlem community center.
Last week they contacted me to ask if I would be able to do something for an event they are having on September 27th at Bogota Latin Bistro, so they can rise funds to continue bringing art to our communities.
Time was tight but the information was clear, all I needed was an idea. They said " we would like a simple image evoking dinner and the arts" and I came up with this idea.
Hope you like it and if you are gonna be in NY by the time, that you can go and collaborate with the cause!

I had this idea on my mind for a while and lately I took the time to make it happen. I had this image of the faces of the Saints inside a circle surrounded by some of their attributes.
I think they are coming out good. Hope you like them. I'll be doing prints soon so you'll be able to have them in your altar and enjoy them with your Santos.

Hey people, this is my new commissioned work for the Hunts Point-Soundview Park Community Olympics event in the Bronx.
We wanted to reflect the waterfront, the city and the Nature, all together with all the activities that will take place at the event.
I think I have it all!
Go and chek the event in the New York City Park and Recreation's website

About a year ago Nicola Ellen started to put together a zine and asked for collaborators.
We had to use typography and use just 3 inks. I sent her my "If I only had a Heart" illo.
The zine is already on the market. A very limited series of 25 hand-print and hand-bind.
