Last week I had the honor to be at the in Albany during the Somos Now Gala, celebrating the end of the Spring Conference that Puerto Rican/Hispanic Task Force organizes to gather representatives from private and public sector and discuss about the future of Latin Community in the NY State.
I was commissioned to create their poster for the 28th annual conference, and here is the result.
It was a great experience, Hon. Assemblyman Marcos Crespo has amazing ideas and he is a very committed politician with his community. Thank you for this opportunity.
As Robert Wadell says in his exhibition review - “I’m Every Woman” examines the notion of words as complement and accusation together. The panels give a left, back and right of a headless woman with words whispered or shouted around the subject as in a mug shot where sometimes people blame, shame and talk about a woman just for being who she is.-
