A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to teach a paint event at Mount Carmel Senior Center. We created a paint intended to create awareness on cancer.
We had a great time sharing stories and talking about some of their experiences going through cancer.
I want to thank the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau and to Bharati Kemraj, Bharati Foundation founder, who made this possible.
Bharati named the art piece ‘Fight with a Flare’.
See The Bronx Times article here.
These are the pieces I customized this year for Argonaut Resins. Mariposa and Dragonfly are already at the NYC Comic-Con and I will join on Sunday painting live some more resin toys.

Visions of Sound
Using astronomically relevant classical pieces of work, a pianist will play said pieces on the Sing For Hope piano while observers learn about the space.
Sing For Hope Pianos
For two weeks in June, they bring stunningly painted pianos – each a unique piece of art created by a different artist – to New York City’s parks, streets, and public spaces for anyone and everyone to play. The Sing for Hope Pianos inspire community engagement.
I am pleased to announce that I am participating in the 2016 chashama Gala, a non-profit arts organization that partners with property owners to activate unused real estate for artists to develop, create, and present.
There will be installations, performances, and more in the former Condé Nast offices and Frank Gehry-designed dining hall! Celebrate chashama's talented artists, and support their vital programs that help artists survive and thrive in New York City.
