Innuendos Closing Reception:
Wednesday April 1st 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Andrew Freedman Home
1125 Grand Concourse
Last March 6th we had the opening reception for Innuendos: The Voices of 10 Bronxite Women.
It was a great success and I want to thank everyone who came out to see the exhibition that cold night. If you haven't seen it, you still have a chance, coming to the closing reception next Wednesday, April 1st, from 6pm to 9pm. You will enjoy the artwork of the show and some performances and poetry.
This has been an intense month at the show already, celebrating Women's History Month. We had poetry readings, a panel presenting Ijeoma D. Iheanacho's amazing project ReImagining and very cool tours and visits to the exhibition.
This exhibition has been a learning, accepting and interesting process to get to know myself better.
