This year I am part of the Sing for Hope Piano artists again. It will be at Owen Dolen and we have some events celebrating Art, Astronomy and Music. I hope to see you there Friday, June 10th and Friday, June 17th from 8 to 10pm.
What’s Up With The StarsUsing a combination of naked eye and telescopic views we will explain what is visible in the night sky, you will learn how to navigate it and will view select objects through a telescope.
Visions of Sound
Using astronomically relevant classical pieces of work, a pianist will play said pieces on the Sing For Hope piano while observers learn about the space.
Sing For Hope Pianos
For two weeks in June, they bring stunningly painted pianos – each a unique piece of art created by a different artist – to New York City’s parks, streets, and public spaces for anyone and everyone to play. The Sing for Hope Pianos inspire community engagement.
I am pleased to announce that I am participating in the 2016 chashama Gala, a non-profit arts organization that partners with property owners to activate unused real estate for artists to develop, create, and present.
There will be installations, performances, and more in the former Condé Nast offices and Frank Gehry-designed dining hall! Celebrate chashama's talented artists, and support their vital programs that help artists survive and thrive in New York City.

InkBlots: A blotted pattern of spilled ink
Saturday, June 4th. 1-3:30 p.m.
Huntington Free Library
9 Westchester Square, Bronx, NY
“InkBlots” give me the freedom to doodle on top of random ink stains, letting my hand draw free over the colors, creating different shapes, faces and monsters. No censure. No regrets. Every mistake will be revamped and will create a work of art. Now I want you to experience, imagine, and create your own inkblots. Use the random stains to stimulate your senses, forget what is right or wrong, everyone can enjoy and make art.
This workshop is possible thanks to The Bronx Council on the Arts.
