I will be painting live celebrating so many changes this year! I got a studio space in the same building BxArts Factory has found it's first home. We are making our debut in the Melrose community and we are creating our first Block pARTy!

Within the past three years, we've been working hard to grow and engage our community. We are excited to share that we will be celebrating three years of art in the community on April 28, 2018!

Be re-energized by an Art Exhibition by members of the BxArts Factory, get inspired by Keynote Speakers, create in our Art Stations and participate in our raffle! These are the pieces I customized this year for Argonaut Resins. Mariposa and Dragonfly are already at the NYC Comic-Con and I will join on Sunday painting live some more resin toys.

It's been a hard month but life goes on and we are back with our monthly Paint the Night Away events! This September our design will be a surprise (with flowers involved)!

Friday, September 9th at The Bronx Beer Hall from 7 to 10 p.m.

This month we have a special treat! During our summer months, adults and children in the community have created designs on the aprons that you will use. It is a way for them to thank you for your financial contribution! You can have this specially designed aprons! You can purchase the apron you will use this evening for only $5. 

This evening, all funds collected by BxArts Factory will support our Free Workshop Series for 2017! With your contributions we are able to purchase materials, support the artists facilitating the workshops and provide free of cost snacks for participants. We love our Free Workshops Series and we are happy to receive your support for our 3rd consecutive year of programming.

This year I am part of the Sing for Hope Piano artists again. It will be at Owen Dolen and we have some events celebrating Art, Astronomy and Music. I hope to see you there Friday, June 10th and Friday, June 17th from 8 to 10pm. 

What’s Up With The StarsUsing a combination of naked eye and telescopic views we will explain what is visible in the night sky, you will learn how to navigate it and will view select objects through a telescope.

Using astronomically relevant classical pieces of work, a pianist will play said pieces on the Sing For Hope piano while observers learn about the space.

For two weeks in June, they bring stunningly painted pianos – each a unique piece of art created by a different artist – to New York City’s parks, streets, and public spaces for anyone and everyone to play. The Sing for Hope Pianos inspire community engagement.
